The Federation of Russian Martial Art was registered in 1992 with the
Ministry of Justice of Russia. Having received All-Russian status, the
Federation now has representatives in 45 regions of Russia, in the CIS
countries, and abroad. Since 1991, the Federation of Russian Martial Art
(FRMA) has conducted about 400 All-Russian, CIS, and international
seminars in the ROSS Training System (the
Russian Native
System of Self-Defense). The number of people engaged in training in
ROSS has already exceeded 100 thousand persons and continues to grow.
The primary goal of Federation of Russian Martial Art (FRMA) is the
unification of people and organizations on the study, revival,
distribution, and application in everyday life of the various national
kinds of self-defense and self-improvement.

Alexander Ivanovich Retuinskih is the president of the All-Russian
Federation of Russian Martial Art and the founder of the ROSS Training
System (the Russian Native System of Self-Defense). Alexander Retuinskih
has a Master of Sport in Sambo and Judo; has the rank of the academician
at the Academy of Combat Sports at the Russian State University of
Physical Training and Sports; is the author of several candidate theses
for a doctoral degree, books, and magazines; and the is publicist of
films devoted to the Russian Native System of Self-Defense. Alexander
Retuinskih is the Grandmaster of RMA-ROSS and a member of the
Grandmaster Council of the World Head of Family Sokeship Council.
Alexander Retuinskih has the rank of Major General of the Cossack armies
and is the head of the department of the General Staff of the Union of
the Cossack armies of Russia and abroad on combat training.
