What is the function of AmerROSS?
The AmerROSS organization provides the opportunities for anyone in the United States to experience the ROSS Training System. Whether is is for health improvement, self-defense, physical preparedness, or martial arts competition, the ROSS Training System can help individuals become better in whatever field they choose.
The AmerROSS implementation of the ROSS Training System provides the following aspects of learning:

the basics of self-defense;
jacket and jacketless grappling;
carbine and bayonet fencing;
health and self-improvement;
the development of flexibility, plasticity, and joint strength and mobility;
applied acrobatics; and
Russian fisticuffs and mixed martial arts.
The AmerROSS organization was formed in 1996. After several staff changes and organizational tweaks, AmerROSS has been re-deployed in 2009 with the primary goal of spreading the ROSS Training System throughout the United States.
The AmerROSS organization is currently made up of the following staff members:
Scott Fabel - AmerROSS Head Trainer
David Rusin - AmerROSS Level 1 Trainer
Oleg Yakimovich - AmerROSS Level 1 Trainer
Alan Livelsberger - AmerROSS Practitioner and Instructor Candidate
All of these individuals are here to help you with your ROSS interests. In addition, we are led by Grandmaster General Alexander Ivanovich Retuinskih in all that we do. Without his ongoing support and assistance, ROSS would not exist in the United States.
A Few Words from Scott Fabel, AmerROSS Head Trainer
ROSS
« Why is ROSS so important, and why does the AmerROSS organization want to spread the ROSS Training System throughout the United States? »
The thing is... ROSS is important because life is important. In many ways, ROSS is about improving the quality of life. As such, it is not simply a martial arts class that someone can attend once or twice a week. It is a true training system that can help people in all aspects of life. People often ask me how often I train. The answer is simple: I train every day. It is important to integrate ROSS into all aspects of your daily routine. The result will be a much healthier--and happier--life!
